I mailed mine on May 25 and up to now I haven't gotten anything yet. My lawyer mailed it to NSC and since my I-140 is pending with the TSC, my lawyer said they will just forward it there. It's taking too long. Anybody in the same boat as I am?

The applications recrived at TEXAS on 1st JUN started receiving recepit notices. One of my friends checks got cleared today. :confused: As per my analysys nebraska had a 6 day lag till Jan 1st. Lets see.

You are still thinking about all the job crap and call. Are you some kind of a retard? Holy shit. What more meets the eye man? He might not be around after sometime. Instead of this bullshit, his priority must be to get better and spend time with family and friends. We dont know how things will be after 6 months. What I find retarded is that this crap green card seems to be taking higher position than him getting better.
To the original poster: Please realize that there is nothing more beautiful than life. Every minute of it is of the essence. Family and loved ones are more important than anything in life. You will not take money, green card or anything after you die. Your wife will be more happy realizing that she spent some fantastic time with you. I wish and pray that you get better. Just junk this immigration shit, go back home, take a second opinion and get better. There is life beyond America and remember that "Jaan hai to jahan hai" (If there is life then you have the world with you). Translation may not be perfect

I am starting this new thread to discuss about EB visas spillover usage based on oldest priority date irrespective of category/country. Currently the spillover happens vertically(a top down approach) from EB1 -> EB2 -> EB3...etc. Instead it should be first used on cases with oldest priority date. This will not only give a good move to clear the backlog but will also be a fair rule for those who are patiently waiting in queue for a long time. I wrote my concern about this to my local congressman. I also request each one of you, who is impacted by this, or who is interested to help us out, to kindly contact your local congressman/woman to express your concern. In turn they can contact USCIS to implement this fair rule to help us all out.
If this idea is implemented, a Pulitzer or Oscar or Olympic Medal winner(let us say in 2010) will have to wait until all backlog before his/her PD is cleared.

Dear all,
I was wondering if any one on this forum has filed his/her AOS with NSC and their case will be transferred to TSC (due to I140 approved from TSC) and has got the filing receipts yet?
My application (based on lawyer's email) should have reached NSC on July 2nd, but haven't got the checks cashed yet or got the receipts yet...
I was wondering that my case will most likely be transferred to TSC from NSC. I am thinking lot of guys are in same situation as me, but have you guys received any receipt yet?

I contacted my Attorney (Its company attorney) and he told me that he will make an enquiry with USCIS. Apparently he has a list of all the pedning cases who are current this month and he is planning to send the list to USCIS.

Nma check is history now. After filed I-485, and 180 days passed, name check is not a factor for GC. If your NC is pending, still they issue you a GC.

Thanks sledge for your support.. That's exactly what I meant. One should at least have a job before applying for H1. I am in totally favor of H4 visa holders to be able to work. There are so many highly educated and talented people out there who are stuck at home or school because of H4 work permit law.
I wish good luck to all H4 visa holders and other people who are stuck in this immigration system.
The problem with him and many others including me is people like the OP, and in case you are also one of them, then we all have a problem with people like YOU!!!!!
He never claimed his wife was better than the OP. All he is saying is that his wife HAD a job, which is the minimum requirement to apply for an H-1B. He never said that converting from H4 to H1 is illegal!
